Torn-Up, Dark Blue Jacket

i am just an old, broke-down, bluejacket;tossed to the side like a killed car
used to be cleaned by the washer, and worn each day in and out
now in the trash, not cleaned, and and heart broken
just a jacket, cold and blue, sad as a person can be
so now the sun sets with me in the dark
with no one to warm up or cheer up any more
